Topsul Yard Party: Spreading Joy, One Yard at a Time
This past week we celebrated the fourth birthday of our youngest child, Lincoln. We started brainstorming on what we could do, because of course, we were faced with a glaring obstacle: we are in a pandemic. We’ve personally always been fans of having birthday parties at-home, and we wanted to make it memorable and special. I vaguely remembered seeing via Instagram that a local yard sign and banner service, called Topsul Yard Party had entered our area, and I thought, “how awesome is that?!” I had only seen this being offered in larger areas and I made a mental note to contact them for the future.
Topsul Party to the Rescue
I waited until the last minute, so I ended up contacting Topsul Yard Party via Instagram and Facebook, and they were very responsive, answering both. I had forgotten to contact them the day before his birthday, but no need to fear: a kind woman, named Olivia informed me that she was available to put up a sign for our dear Lincoln and she began to ask me questions about what he enjoyed. After I told her he loves anything with super heroes, she told me they could add-on dinosaurs, LEGO’s, or trucks free of charge. My eyes lit up and I chose dinos, another fav of his. I was informed they would incorporate all of these into his unique display and they would be at my home ASAP.
Meet the Owners
Olivia and Jara are a mother-daughter duo who you can immediately tell are so passionate about what they do. Officially from Ohio, they’ve been here 7 years and reside in Surf City, NC. Started on a whim, Olivia says their desire is that each and every one of their displays have a special, unique touch, and be tailored for each customer. Jara is the resident ‘social media expert’ and who you’re more than likely speaking to if you message them.

She shared a vision they created on a recent display. It was ABBA-themed for a 17-year old girl and the theme was “young and sweet!” How AWESOME, right?!
How it WORKS:
- You contact them via Instagram, Facebook, or phone (contact info listed below)
- They typically come set up the night before, so it’s a surprise the next am
- The rental lasts 24 hours
- They have military discount
- I paid using Venmo, which is super convenient.
- If you want it extra days, there is a reduced fee to keep it
- BONUS: the SPECIAL touch they do, which I love, is the solar lights they set up in front, so it’s ILLUMINATED AT NIGHT. I asked my friend in Houston, if the company she used had done this and she said no, and it was more expensive
It’s the CARE, FRIENDLINESS, and ATTENTION TO DETAIL that makes Topsul Yard Party such a win for me. As for our display?! Lincoln LOVED it. He was ecstatic. Every time I turned into our yard, I noticed a touch I hadn’t before. The layout was amazing, the colors are very vivid. When people passed our yard, they would STOP! We extended the days, and when it was gone, he exclaimed, “where did my signs go?!” Need I say more? Contact them TODAY!
