Rachel Carter
Real Estate Photographer | RCI Founder
If you don’t give her a camera, she’ll make one.
That’s what Rachel did when she was 9, constructing a camera from an oatmeal canister. She used fiber photographic paper to develop black and white images manually, in a darkroom.
Over a decade of professionally studying & working in photography developed Rachel’s passion for landscape and real estate photography. She thrives on the challenge of capturing the very best of every home, while remaining authentic to what buyers will see in person. And she does it very, very well.
Local real estate agents, property management companies, vacation rentals, architects, custom builders, and remodeling contractors: Contact Rachel here to set up a photoshoot or get a quote.
Up with the sun, Rachel is often spotted at the beach before the first sunlight, capturing the breathtaking moments the sun peeks out from the depths of the ocean. These types of stunning photos are often included with the real estate photography, to give life to the property, bringing the best of the community right to the view of potential buyers.
A graduate of Towson University in Maryland, Rachel studied photography at Lorenzo d’Medici International Art school in Florence, Italy. She loves dogs, connecting people, and traveling (with her camera in hand, of course).
Rachel is available for projects in Eastern North Carolina, including: Holly Ridge, North Topsail Beach, Surf City, Topsail Island, Hampstead, Sneads Ferry, and Wilmington. Her incredibly skilled staff handles most projects beyond those areas, such as Jacksonville and Leland.

Saba Sean Safiari
VP of Operations
That’s MISTER Safiari, to you!
But we just call him Saba (pronounced saw-baw). Saba is our resident serious guy. He’s serious about business and all the details that keep businesses operating successfully. He keeps RCI on the straight and narrow, managing legal paperwork and contracts, and all the other things that are serious business. We seriously would be lost without him.
Saba has channeled all that brain power into serving our country, spending a decade as a logistics officer in the Marine Corps. He’s serious about education, and managed to squeeze out enough time to earn an MA in Leadership, even while being deployed 4 times. He followed that up with an Executive MBA from UNC Chapel Hill. Yeah, he’s seriously smart.
A California native who loves to dig into a fat burrito while critically contemplating continuous improvement on logic driven financial decisions for a myriad of companies, he satisfies his thirst for knowledge by traveling the world as often as possible. We’re thankful he puts that brilliance to great use, continuing to serve our great nation as a Major in the Marine Corps Reserve.
Give a Saba a great pepperoni and mushroom pizza, a double Titos with soda and lime, water views, and a business problem, and he will be a happy camper. He might even let you drop the “mister” and just call him Saba.

Elizabeth Ann Giles
Strategic Communications Manager
A savvy wordsmith with expertise in organizational development and strategic communications, Elizabeth resides on the North Carolina coast with her husband and two rambunctious sons. She is perpetually fascinated by people – observing their interpersonal communication, relationship behaviors, and nonverbal expressions (especially through the semi-frozen state of botox). This is the excuse she uses to watch every single region of the Real Housewives franchise.
With a BA and MA in Strategic Communications, she is most satisfied with her job of being a mom, serving God, and reminding her husband to put a liner in the trash can. When she’s not working, Elizabeth pretends she’s a scientist and reads peer reviewed journals well above her understanding.

“Imagery to me is about telling the most compelling story; well composed and artistic shots sell, but the story an image tells is its most important facet.” – Josh Brown
